The Brief
The awards stand as a celebration of the brilliance and vibrancy inherent in the UK's dining scene, honouring the finest chefs, front-of-house staff, and restaurants the country has to offer.
With the transition of the website from WordPress to the Webpuzzle, we had the opportunity to breathe new life into the entire digital presence. The objective was to align the web templates with the contemporary era of dining, introducing interactive elements while maintaining user-friendly content management for the event team.
As part of the redesign, the event team expressed a desire to highlight the high-level imagery submitted by the restaurants. In response, our focus was on making photography a standout element throughout the website. We featured a restaurant reel at the top of the homepage and incorporated large, responsive image carousels on the restaurant profile pages.
The aim was not only to refresh the website aesthetically but also to create an immersive experience that showcased the visual allure of each participating restaurant.
